MILWAUKEE, WI (February 21, 2020) - Briggs & Stratton is excited to announce it will exclusively power the new Makinex Construction Products 23kW 480V generator. Launched at World of Concrete in February, the new generator will be powered by the Vanguard 37.0 Gross HP* EFI engine.
“We knew the Vanguard engine would be the best option in optimizing this beast’s power,” said Dani Planto, marketing manager, Makinex.
At 1/3 the size and weight of most SKID and towable generators with similar power output, the generator is the world’s smallest 23kW 480V 3-phase generator. “Since the generator’s output is directly related to the quality and performance of its power source, Vanguard was an easy choice,” said Peter Maginnis, general manager, Makinex. “Vanguard offers a powerful, fuel-efficient engine, as well as a great footprint of service centers and global supply chain support our customers can rely on.”
Bringing together the new Makinex 23kW generator and the Vanguard 37.0 HP EFI engine offers Makinex customers one of the most powerful compact generators in its category. Equipped with Vanguard EFI, the engine provides exceptional fuel economy and advanced debris management for enhanced durability and performance.
*All power levels are stated gross HP at 3,600 RPM per SAE J1940 as rated by Briggs & Stratton.
