Our commercial engine & lithium-ion battery pack warranties are backed by the Briggs & Stratton global service network.

Briggs & Stratton’s global warranty for commercial engines and lithium-ion battery packs is a result of listening to the needs of its customers. In today’s global marketplace, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) routinely distribute their products to multiple regions of the world.

For these OEMs, a single, global warranty is the logical way to provide marketing and product support consistency. Briggs & Stratton is also committed to leading the industry in warranty support systems.

WARRANTY FOR COMMERCIAL ENGINES

These 3-year limited warranties cover the following: Vanguard and Commercial Series^* air-cooled, gasoline engines installed on commercial equipment with the exception of home standby generators, which are covered under their own specific warranties.

For single-cylinder horizontal shaft engines we offer an extended warranty. Register your engine and receive an extra year of commercial limited warranty.^**

WARRANTY FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERY PACKS

Vanguard is offering a competitive 8 year commercial limited warranty. Free replacement of equal or greater value for up to 8 years, or the associated MWh of cumulative discharge, whichever occurs first.

Warranty is valid 8 years from date of sale or if no receipt available it will be based upon manufacture date.

WARRANTY FOR CHARGERS

Vanguard provides a 3-year limited warranty on chargers, valid from the date of sale. If the receipt is unavailable, the warranty will be based on the manufacture date.

WARRANTY FOR MOTORS & MOTOR CONTROLLERS

2 year warranty on Vanguard motors and motor controllers

Vanguard provides a 2-year limited warranty for motors and motor controllers, starting from the date of sale. If no receipt is available, the warranty will be based on the manufacture date.
