SAFEGUARD YOUR FLEET WITH VANGUARD® EXTENDED WARRANTY
Freienbach Switzerland, 1 October 2020 – From 1st October 2020 Vanguard Europe is extending the warranty on its Vanguard 160, 200 and 400 engines with one extra year to 3+1. The extension will help fleet managers ensure their rental equipment continues to run optimally and more economically.
Vanguard 160, 200 and 400 single-cylinder engines come with a 3-year commercial limited warranty as standard from date of purchase. As of October 1, owners can apply for an additional year of warranty by registering their product through the Vanguard website.
“We feel the timing is right to offer our customers this extension,” says Paul Bramhall, Director Marketing EMEA at Briggs & Stratton. “The rental market has been impacted considerably by the global pandemic and we anticipate that rental companies will be able to allocate less budget to their fleets short to mid-term. The extension will help fleet managers run their equipment in optimal condition without unexpected out-of-pocket expenses that would increase the total cost of ownership (TCO).”
Briggs & Stratton is confident in the design quality of its Vanguard single cylinder engines and is proud to be a leader in the market by extending its warranty globally, even in demanding applications that are used in markets such as rental. “Depending on the piece of equipment and how it is used in the fleet, the extended warranty could potentially cover the unit’s expected working life, until it is resold or disposed of,” Bramhall explains.
All Vanguard engines are backed by a comprehensive factory-trained European service network of skilled technicians who can efficiently manage the warranty, for maximum equipment uptime.
