BRIGGS & STRATTON AT

DEMOPARK 2025

Freienbach, April 28th, 2025 – Briggs & Stratton, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provides innovative products and diverse power solutions to help people get work done. Briggs & Stratton is the world’s largest producer of engines for lawn and garden, turf care and job site power equipment and is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of lithium-ion batteries, standby generators and energy storage systems through its Briggs & Stratton®, Vanguard®, Ferris®, Simplicity®, Snapper®, Billy Goat®, Allmand®, Branco® and Victa® brands. Briggs & Stratton products are designed, manufactured, marketed and serviced in over 100 countries on six continents.

Vanguard helps professionals to get their work done by applying power to their unique commercial applications. For more than 35 years, Vanguard has partnered with customers to conquer challenges and develop innovative products. Vanguard doesn’t simply provide components but supports customers in applying commercial lithium-ion and petrol power throughout the entire integration process, from development to serial production to after sales and training support.

Vanguard power products are specifically relevant to the landscaping and gardening industry due to their alignment with key industry priorities: efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. With rising environmental standards and demand for quieter, low-emission tools—especially in urban areas—Vanguard’s lithium-ion systems offer clean, quiet power without sacrificing on performance. Vanguard's 48V 1.5kWh swappable commercial lithium-ion battery pack Si1.5 allows users to swap one battery between multiple applications, enhancing sustainability and lowering total cost of ownership.

At the same time, Vanguard’s petrol engines, ranging from 3,7 to 29,9 gross kW, remain essential for demanding applications. Mostly equipped with advanced Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) technologies, these engines optimise fuel use and emissions. Particularly in the 30 to 40 HP range, they’re a robust, efficient alternative to diesel.

Battery or petrol, Vanguard solutions reduce ownership costs through fuel efficiency, durability, and low maintenance—delivering the reliability and innovation landscaping and gardening  professionals need.
